Blogging the Bible- March 22

Numbers 34-36; Psalm 37:23-40

As the people of Israel are about to cross the Jordan into the Promised Land, God begins to reiterate to them aspects of how He wants His people to live. How the land is to be divided. How they are to provide for the priests. How they are to treat certain individuals who have taken a life.

David reminds us to be patient with God and to walk steadily along His path. As we follow Him, our feet will not slip and we will inherit many good things from the Lord. But if we are proud and stand against God, soon we will be found to have fallen and destroyed.

It is the Lord who saves godly. He is their fortress in times of trouble.
