Disciples who make disciples

One of the best things to come out of Sunday was seeing the discipleship process at its best.

Steve meets regularly with Roger. They have a discipleship plan. When the time was right, Roger responded. They are still meeting, but there will be a time when they don’t. Roger will learn to “walk” on his own. As Roger walks on his own, he’ll bring others along with him. Steve, too, will find others to take along this same course.

The question is, “Who’s next?”

A better question is, “Who are you discipling?”

If you are a believer in Jesus, a disciple of His, you have been charged with the commission of making disciples.

When the Church (universal and local) is at its best, it exists as body of disciples who make disciples.
