About

So a bit about me.

I am a husband and father, two of the greatest jobs that I have, to two of the most beautiful women I know. A day doesn’t pass that they make me smile.

I am a Christ follower who gets paid to help people grow to be more like Him. It’s a pretty cool gig and I get to work with some really great people. You should check us out at www.northpointchurch.org or just come by and visit us in Winthrop Harbor, IL and coming soon to a venue near you the North Point Church- Warren Campus. I am overwhelmed and excited about what God is doing through North Point as we prepare to launch our new site.

I have always been an athlete. I played basketball and baseball into High School and even played a year of basketball in college for the college basketball powerhouse Ozark Christian College. I love to try to play golf and love to watch college basketball, college and pro football, baseball and golf.

Though not much of a singer, my steering wheel gets a concert daily, I enjoy playing the guitar, air drums and any other assorted imaginary instruments.

I love hanging out with friends, watching movies, reading, and going camping with my family.

Just a bit about me. You may learn more by reading the posts on this blog.

  1. Hi Mike,

We received your appeal and Ben & I will pray about your proposal. We may be able to give a one time gift, but are already supporting several monthly missions.

By the way, your Mom was never specific about where you were. Friends of mine used to be at North Point and I am not sure if they are still there; Tim & Teresa Knight. Are they still there? Just curious. I lost touch after they were gone. They were in Vandalia when we were in Mexico and we went to camp together, then they went to Florissant and Marv stayed with them briefly after his first divorce. Marv also went to see Beth when she was on a camp team up in Northern IL and Tim was there, too, but not sure if he was still at North point.

Look forward to seeing you when you come home sometime. Love to you and the girls! Marylee
